Ladle up

In view of the
prevailing heat conditions,
I am holding back
some rainwater.

For I know, when the wind blows,
my  green neighbours below,
wilting under a ...
'ready to toast and roast' heat,
will gladly welcome,
a dousing from my
gently swaying ladle.
